Cortizo Headed to United Nations

President Laurentino Cortizo traveled to New York City on Monday to participate in the 74th session General Assembly of the United Nations in New York City.

According to a report by the Presidency of the Republic, Cortizo is scheduled to address the General Assembly at 4 pm on Wednesday and will meet with the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to address issues on the global agenda.

“We reiterate our commitment to work together with countries around the world for the benefit of those who need it most,” Cortizo Tweeted.

Panama Minister of Environment Milciades Concepción has been in the US since the weekend participating in the UN Climate Action Summit 2019 and the Youth Climate Summit.
